Hello! I’m a yoga teacher in Brooklyn. I’d love to help you develop or deepen your own yoga practice.

My yoga story

After years of playing sports, running, and “going to the gym,” I started a daily home yoga practice using online videos; I loved it pretty much immediately. A few years later, I completed a 200-hour teacher training with Julie Dohrman, learning an alignment-based, Anusara-inspired style of Hatha yoga. The following year, I earned an additional 200-hour teaching certification in Katonah Yoga®, studying under teachers like Cari Friedman and Abbie Galvin and completing a mentorship with Kari Harendorf, Willis Johnston, Kyle Miller, and Josie Schweitzer.

My class

No matter what you’re working with in your own body, yoga has something to offer you: stability, strength, balance, therapeutics, breath, and so much more. I approach yoga as a longevity practice. In general, my classes are uncomplicated and fun. They prioritize functional movement in whatever ways feel best to students. I will never make you go upside-down, but I can help you go upside-down if you want to try it. :)

I teach weekly classes at Yogis & Yoginis in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I also offer private and semi-private instruction and corporate yoga all over NYC, online classes anywhere in the world, and open-level classes in Prospect Park. Learn more about me, contact me, or check out my class schedule.
